I haven't been updating my journal entries for a while but I'll give a quick recap of what I did in the past months.
On April 10th, I went to Castle Point Anime Convention in New Jersey. It was my first out-of-state convention and the reason I went there was to take photos of cosplayers there because I was working on my Cosplay photography project my digital photography class. I uploaded a few pics so far on my account and on my flickr account.

It was raining at that time. After the concert, we went back to our dorm where we ordered pizza, watched some DVDs. I also created a Tumblr account. My username is pikaman206, the same as my DA account. If you are interested, follow me.
www.tumblr.com/tumblelog/pikam…On April 30th, I went to the Sakura Matsuri festival at Brooklyn Botanical Garden. I cosplayed again as Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece and I also took more pics of cosplayers for my project.

www.flickr.com/photos/35364787…Around May, my first year of college came to an end. I've watched the movie Thor and it was awesome. I was disappointed of how big the Frost Giants were. They were supposed to be King Kong sized but they were in avatar size. A week after I saw Thor, I went the Big Apple Comic Con 2011: Spring Edition. I went there as Spider-Man. Few of my friends were there in costumes as well. Cassandra cosplayed as Vampire Jubilee and her friend cosplayed as Rogue, Sergio was Spider-Man, among the group of Spider-Men, Gala was Batgirl, and Krista and her boyfriend cosplayed as Psylocke and Iron Fist. The con was great! I was able to get the graphic novels and action figure I wanted. The cons of the con was that the building of where the con was held at was hot! There was like no ACs! It was so hot, that I had to take off my mask and step out of the building for some fresh air. Pics of the Big Apple Comic Con are uploaded on my flickr account:
